My name is Emily Meeker and I am the new Jr. High Social Studies teacher and Jr. High Volleyball Coach. I was previously a High School paraprofessional and before that a substitute in the district. I graduated from Lakeland in 2018 and am finishing my Education Degree at Central Methodist University. I found my love for teaching while working at the Boys and Girls Club in Springfield. At the time I was a dedicated Political Science Major but after only 3 short months at the club, I knew I was meant to be a teacher! I can’t wait for this school year to start, August 22nd can’t come soon enough!
