The Lakeland R-III High School Quiz Bowl team continues its outstanding season with several important upcoming events. The team will compete on February 5 against Archie, Rich Hill, and Liberal, followed by the WEMO Conference Tournament on March 5, 2026, hosted by Drexel.
In recognition of their exceptional performance, the Lakeland Quiz Bowl team has received an invitation to compete at the National Quiz Bowl Championships in Chicago, Illinois, scheduled for April 24–26, 2026. This is a significant honor and reflects the team’s dedication, academic excellence, and undefeated season.
The estimated cost for the Nationals trip is approximately $6,000, which covers expenses for a team of eight students and traveling chaperones Mr. and Mrs. Baker. Participation at the national level provides students with a unique academic experience and the opportunity to represent Lakeland R-III on a national stage.
Donations are gratefully accepted to help support this exciting opportunity. Any contribution, large or small, helps the team reach Nationals and continues to foster excellence in academics and teamwork.
