🟢 Preschool: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
🟡 Kindergarten: 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
🟢 1st through 4th grade: 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
🟡 5th and 6th grade: 5:45 pm start in the cafeteria
This allows students to meet their new teacher and drop off school supplies. ✏️
There will be a verification sheet to confirm that your information is correct for returning students. Also, please check with your child's teacher to make sure that bus information is correct before you leave. Mr. Keith will be in the office to make any bus changes as necessary. 🚌
The nurse will be in the office if you have medications to drop off. 💊
Also, the Walk Up Wagon food truck will be in the parking lot so you don’t have to cook dinner! 🍔
Fall Sports Practices
Lakeland High School fall sports practices begin on Monday, August 12th:
🟢 Cross Country--6:30 AM
🟡 Volleyball--6:00 AM to 8:00 AM
🟢 Baseball--1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Lakeland Junior High fall sports practices begin on Monday, August 19th:
🟢 JH Cross Country--6:30 AM, there will possibly be an alternate evening time for those that can't make the morning workout.
🟡 JH Volleyball--4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Proposition KIDS: Zero Tax Bond Levy Issue Passes!
We have received the official results for the bond issue on Tuesday's ballot. With 68% of the vote, the issue passes.

Proposition KIDS: Zero Tax Levy Increase Bond Issue
The Lakeland R-III School District is asking voters to consider a no tax increase bond levy of $2 million on the April 2, 2024 ballot, that will have zero impact on the current tax levy. Proposition KIDS will allow the district to address needs in several areas including:
-Safety and Security upgrades, including updating cameras and installing sensors.
-Baseball and softball field renovations, including lighting systems and scoreboards.
-HVAC replacement in Elementary classrooms.
-Repairs and improvements to existing facilities
-Upgrades to student transportation.
If approved, Lakeland R-III's debt service levy would remain unchanged at $.9367 per $100 AV.
