Spring sports pictures will be taken on Thursday, April 2nd. Athletes should bring uniforms to school that day.

✅ Summer school registration is now available. If your student will not be attending, check no and return to school. If your student will be attending, check yes, complete the form and return to school.
😎 Summer school will be held from May 26th to June 5th.

Fourth grade finished up their Economics unit by listening to Lakeland senior, Emily Neuenschwander talk about starting her business, Em's Sweet Treats. We enjoyed her presentation and asking her questions about starting a business. The vanilla cupcakes were amazing! Thank you, Emily.

Rally Caps for Jack!
Tomorrow, Wednesday, March 25th, Lakeland students may pay $1 to wear a hat in support of Archie elementary student Jackson Collins who is fighting cancer.
All proceeds are going directly to help Jack and his family during this next phase of treatment.
From the Archie school district: "If your school would be willing to participate, it would mean more than we can express. There is so much power in small communities coming together."

Fourth graders enjoyed listening to Mrs. Lawanna Salmon speak about starting her beef business, Salmon Enterprises, during COVID. We are learning a lot about starting and running a business! Thank you, Mrs. Lawanna!

Fourth graders enjoyed listening to Mrs. Regan Hollinsworth talk about starting her business, Four Fillies Mercantile, as part of a unit on economics and entrepreneurship. We learned a lot about running a business and the lemonades were delicious! Thank you, Regan!
Mrs. Waggoner, Junior High English teacher, recently held an essay contest for 5th through 7th grades. 📝
Students were invited to write an essay about the pros and cons of artificial intelligence and virtual reality. 💻
The sixth grade winner was MaKenzee Sprouse and the seventh grade winner was Olivia Fellhoelter. 👏
Each student received a VR headset as a prize. 🏆
