Andrew "Drew" Joshua Shroyer passed away on February 21, 2020 in Riverton, WY at the age of 17. Drew and his brother Nate attended Lakeland through 6th and 8th grades. Their mother, Mrs. Tammy Shroyer, also taught 5th and 6th grade Science in the district.
A local celebration of life will be held at the Lakeland High School Gymnasium on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 6 PM. There will be a balloon release conducted by the junior class following the service.
The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Drew Shroyer Memorial Fund.
The Vikings defeated Weaubleau 65-61 in double overtime. The boys move on to the District 13 Championship game v. Skyline on Saturday at 7:30.

The Lakeland boys (22-4) advanced to semifinals with a win over Marion C. Early last night. They are set to play Weaubleau (21-5) tomorrow night at 7:30 pm.
