🏆 FROM DEEPWATER TO CHICAGO: OUR QUIZ BOWLERS ARE GOING TO NATIONALS! 🏆
Our Lakeland R-III High School Quiz Bowl Team is headed to the Small School National Championship Tournament in Chicago this April! 🧠✈️
This isn't just a local win—our students will be testing their wits against the brightest minds from across the U.S. and even South Korea. After a nearly undefeated season, these seven scholars have earned their spot on the premier academic stage in the country.
📚 Why We’re Sharing
These students aren't just memorizing facts; they are mastering history, science, literature, and fine arts under high-pressure, fast-paced conditions. They are developing the leadership and critical-thinking skills that will make them the future leaders of our community.
🚌 The Goal: $9,000
W e need our Lakeland family to help us get there. We are looking to raise $9,000 to cover:
Tournament Entry Fees
Travel & Lodging
Meals for the team
🤝 How You Can Help
Donate: Please make checks payable to Lakeland R-III High School Quiz Bowl (write “Nationals” in the memo).
Student Service: The team is so dedicated that they are willing to volunteer student service hours in exchange for donations!
Spread the Word: Share this post so our local businesses and alumni can see what these kids are achieving.
