The elementary is continuing to collect Best Choice labels and Box Tops. Elementary students who bring in the most of each label each week will get to select a prize from the office.
The Box Tops program is changing. Traditional Box Tops clips are being phased out of production, but may continue to be found on many products throughout the store. You can still clip and send them to school.
Eventually the Box Tops program will become digital-only. Participating brands are starting to change their packaging from a traditional Box Tops clip to the new Box Top label.
Use the new Box Tops app to scan your receipt. The app will find participating products purchased at any store and instantly add cash to your school's earnings online.
Thank you for supporting our school!

Please join us in welcoming Todd Jennings to Lakeland!
Greetings! I am Todd Jennings and I am the 7th, 8th, and 9th grade Social Studies Teacher, including Geography and American History. My wife and I live in Tightwad. I have been a Social Studies Teacher since 2014 and I have taught and coached football and basketball in Jefferson City, Chillicothe, Slater, and now I am excited to be here at Lakeland!

The Booster Club slow pitch tournament has been cancelled and rescheduled for next Saturday the 24th.

Please join us in welcoming Tamara Hacker to Lakeland!
Hi! My name is Tamara Hacker and yes, I am the proud mum of Miss Heather Slaven (Lakeland Middle School-English teacher). I am the new middle school Science teacher and I am super excited to be here!
Along with Spike and Sassy (our 7th, 8th, and 9th grade mascots) we are going to create new experiments in the lab, asking questions, gathering information, making a hypothesis, as we observe, record and share our results with all of you.
I am all about positive thinking; it is a mental and emotional attitude that focuses on the bright side of life and expects positive results. A student with positive thinking mentality anticipates happiness, health and success, and believes that he or she can overcome any obstacle and difficulty.
I will be graduating in December of this year with a Master's in Education from the University of Central Missouri. I am very compassionate about Ecology and our environment. I have 5 children, 6 grand children, 3 dogs, 2 birds and no partridge in a pear tree. Looking forward to meeting everyone and starting new adventures!
